Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Proliance Surgeons as a Pre-OP/PACU Registered Nurse. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and safe transition of patients through the surgical experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre-surgical assessments and provide education to patients and their families to ensure they are well-prepared for their procedure.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Assist in the coordination of pre-surgical clearances and diagnostics, and communicate the patient's plan of care to the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the surgical experience, including post-operative recovery.
  • Work effectively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current State licensure and CPR, ACLS, and PALS accreditation.
  • Two years of experience in the OR, Recovery Room, Intensive Care, or Emergency Room is desired.
