We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Swedish Edmonds. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the perioperative nursing team, providing indirect perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical and surgical endoscopy procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
- Participate in the setup and breakdown of surgical equipment, supplies, and instruments.
- Provide technical support to surgeons and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
- Transport patients to and from the operating room, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Graduation from a surgical technology program or a combination of education and directly related work experience.
- Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Surgical Technologist certification.
- Prior experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care facility.
