About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Swedish Edmonds. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the perioperative nursing team, providing indirect perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical and surgical endoscopy procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the perioperative nursing team to provide indirect perioperative care to patients
  • Perform tasks such as transporting patients, second assisting, and serving as a technical expert for a surgical service
  • Work collaboratively with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room
  • Assist with preparing patients for surgery and maintaining accurate records
Requirements
  • Graduation from a surgical technology program or a combination of education and directly related work experience
  • Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Surgical Technologist certification upon hire
  • Prior experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care facility
