We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Swedish Edmonds. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in the perioperative nursing team, providing indirect care to patients undergoing surgical and surgical endoscopy procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
- Participate in the transportation of patients to and from the operating room, providing emotional support and reassurance.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the smooth execution of procedures, maintaining a high level of patient care and safety.
- Assist in the maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Provide support to the surgical team during procedures, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
- Graduation from a surgical technology program or a combination of education and directly related work experience.
- Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Surgical Technologist certification.
- Prior experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care facility.
