Visionary Clinical Informatics Leader

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to drive our clinical informatics initiatives, ensuring the effective use of healthcare data and technology to improve patient care and outcomes. This individual will play a key role in integrating clinical information systems, driving data-driven decision-making processes, and promoting the adoption of electronic health records (EHR) and other health technologies across our organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in clinical informatics, leadership, and innovation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of optimizing clinical workflows, implementing informatics solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
The Director of Clinical Informatics will report to the CIO and work closely with healthcare providers, IT teams, and leadership to foster collaboration between clinical and technical teams while optimizing healthcare processes through innovative informatics solutions.
About the Role:
- Develop and execute the clinical informatics strategy, aligning with our organization's overall mission and healthcare goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, clinical departments, and IT to define informatics priorities and ensure alignment with our strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the clinical informatics team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical software platforms to ensure seamless workflows.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools designed to improve clinical workflows, patient safety, and quality of care.
- Lead efforts to leverage data analytics and business intelligence to inform clinical decision-making, enhance patient outcomes, and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of clinical data, promoting the use of standardized data for reporting, research, and clinical trials.
- Develop and implement decision support tools and clinical dashboards to enhance the delivery of care.
- Partner with clinical leadership to drive quality improvement initiatives, utilizing informatics tools to monitor and improve clinical processes and patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Meaningful Use, MACRA, and other relevant standards.
What We Offer:
- An estimated salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 per year.
