Job Summary

Milestones Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Psychiatrist to assume a senior medical leadership position. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing medical direction and oversight to our psychiatric services, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical direction and oversight to our psychiatric services, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions, focusing on evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure medical stability and quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide medical education and training to our clinical staff to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • Board certification in psychiatry, with a strong background in clinical leadership and management.
  • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
  • Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate, with a valid medical license.
