Milestones Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Psychiatrist to assume a senior medical leadership position. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing medical direction and oversight to our psychiatric services, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical direction and oversight to our psychiatric services, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with our clinical team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions, focusing on evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure medical stability and quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide medical education and training to our clinical staff to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research.
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- Board certification in psychiatry, with a strong background in clinical leadership and management.
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
- Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate, with a valid medical license.
Milestones Behavioral Health is a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services across the United States, operating a network of behavioral healthcare facilities with approximately 11,000 beds in 39 states and Puerto Rico, serving approximately 70,000 patients daily. We provide psychiatric and chemical dependency services to our patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, specialty treatment facilities, residential treatment centers, outpatient clinics, and therapeutic school-based programs.
