Key Responsibilities- Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of a high level of confidentiality, provide quality customer service, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Staff Supervision: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate facility employees, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and professionalism.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other facilities to create a system of quality healthcare delivery, participate in monthly operations meetings, and maintain effective communication with divisional physicians.
- Administrative Tasks: Responsible for the timely submission of bi-weekly payroll hours, weekly invoices/accounts payable, and daily cash sheet verification.
- Charge Management: Monitor the submission of charges to ensure timely entry and review status news, approved failed, etc.
- Staff Development: Promote staff development, assist personnel in meeting goals and objectives, and conduct meaningful appraisals in a timely manner.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle employee disciplinary problems/actions confidentially and discreetly, documenting occurrences and forwarding them to the COO for review.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook/Office, experience using computer programs, and ability to type 45 WPM.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or similar field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of direct healthcare management experience required.
- Language Ability: Ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondence.
- Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide on all units of measure.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
The position works in a climate-controlled office environment with little or no potential interference from elements or sound.
