Recycling Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Recycling Operator to join our team at The Azek Company. As a Recycling Operator, you will play a critical role in our PVC recycling process, ensuring the highest quality materials are produced for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspect and physically sort scrap PVC materials, including vinyl siding and window frames
  • Operate machinery, such as grinders, mixers, and pulverizing machines, to process materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the recycling process

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor environment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout a shift
  • Ability to visually inspect and physically sort materials by color and grade
  • Ability to learn how to operate a band saw efficiently and safely
  • Ability to work any applicable mandatory overtime
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Factory and/or production line experience is helpful but not required
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
  • Ability to maintain a clean work area
