Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Multi-Family Construction Superintendent to join our team at K2 Staffing. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program that meets or exceeds company standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
  • Project Administration: Ensure project materials are supplied and work is completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and quality control measures.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop, maintain, and drive the construction schedule, ensuring project milestones and completion dates are met.
  • Team Management: Supervise field employees and sub-trades, ensuring their work is planned and performed efficiently, and their time/production sheets are accurately coded.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a thorough Superintendent's daily log, tracking site progress, events, inspections, and other relevant information.
  • Communication and Leadership: Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders, monitor and support project progression, and mentor project team members for their development and career growth.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and distribute weekly progress reports, ensuring timely submission.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Establish credibility among owners, trade contractors, and other stakeholders by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in running ground-up multifamily and hotel construction in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge of all trades, OSHA 10-hour training or equivalent, CPR and First Aid certification, intermediate level in Microsoft Office Applications, advanced level in Microsoft Project, and intermediate to advanced level in Procore.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize work assignments, extreme attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
