About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing Operations to join our team at Arboreta Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the clinical services for nursing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Functions: In conjunction with the DON, you will plan, coordinate, and manage the clinical services for nursing services, responsible for the coordination and delivery of nursing care and services provided to residents in various units.
  • On-Call Rotation: You will be required to participate in an on-call rotation to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: You will assess and evaluate the systems that facilitate the delivery of quality resident care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Issue Resolution: You will facilitate the resolution of issues and concerns associated with resident/patient care, including family issues.
  • Nursing Procedures: You will implement and evaluate all nursing procedures and systems relative to clinical programming.
  • Nursing Diagnoses: You will make nursing diagnoses that serve as the basis for the delivery of care.
  • Nursing Assessments: You will perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of the resident/patient.
  • Plan of Care: You will develop a plan of care and implement nursing care based on assessment.
  • Health Education: You will provide health education to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Education: Must possess, as a minimum, an RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure: Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
  • Language: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Decision-Making: Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
