JOB SUMMARY
Under close supervision, you will engage in a variety of straightforward to moderately complex tasks by adhering to detailed work instructions that require minimal judgment and decision-making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and data tracking for feeders.
- Provide training to employees on the operation and upkeep of machinery.
- Assist in training and coordinating activities of Maintenance Assistants.
Additionally, you may assist in:
- Troubleshooting to identify issues in malfunctioning electro-mechanical equipment utilized in the manufacturing process.
- Dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment based on layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, or sketches.
- Utilizing diagnostic tools to conduct equipment checkouts.
- Working overtime as required.
- Adhering to all company security policies and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to acquire job skills and understand company policies to complete routine tasks.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Familiarity with basic and specialized hand tools and leveling instruments, as well as knowledge of torque specifications.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Understanding of electronic color codes and component value markings.
- Knowledge of safety practices and requirements.
- Competence in personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email).
- Experience with specialized maintenance tracking software.
- Associate's degree in electronics with a focus on servo positioning theory or a related field.
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant may be considered.
- Zero to two years of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment involving electro-mechanical equipment.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
