Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Resident Care Coordinator to join our team at Senior Living Communities. As a key member of our Assisted Living and Memory Care team, you will be responsible for implementing standards of resident care on a 24-hour basis, ensuring the highest level of quality and service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Resident Records: Accurately and thoroughly maintain residents' charts, including admission documents, care plans, records of care, and other required documents.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure the Assisted Living and Alzheimer's areas operate in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, serving as a liaison between our campus and regulatory agencies.
  • Medication Administration and Management: Implement the administration of resident medications, assess responses, and make adjustments or recommendations as needed.
  • Staff Leadership and Development: Participate in and lead staff meetings, implement nursing programs, and conduct daily resident rounds to ensure the highest level of care.
  • Education and Training: Participate in and attend all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A two- or four-year college or university degree is required, along with current state licensure as a Nurse or CNA/Med Tech certification. Two years of experience in a similar healthcare position is also required.
  • Skills and Abilities: The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently, as well as meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards, is essential. Proficiency in Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment is also required.
Work Environment

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The ability to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. and push up to 250 pounds independently is necessary. Long hours, frequent night and weekend work, and occasional travel for training sessions and other company functions may be required.
