Medical/Surgical Progressive Care Nurse

As a Registered Nurse in our Medical/Surgical Progressive Care unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical needs. Under the guidance of our experienced healthcare team, you will utilize your clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment, planning, and implementation skills, with the ability to prioritize patient care activities and coordinate with other healthcare disciplines. Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough multi-system assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize patient care activities and coordinate discharge planning
- Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and quality outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness
- Participate in unit quality assurance activities to continuously improve patient care
- 9 months of RN experience
- 1 year of current telemetry inpatient experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
- Basic Life Support
- NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Previous healthcare experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- 1 year current experience in progressive or intermediate care unit
- Recent experience with respiratory compromised patients
- PCCN / CCRN Certification
