Regional Medical Imaging, P.C. is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient interviews to gather medical history and ensure safety protocols are met.
- Operate MRI equipment to perform scans according to radiologist and physician requests.
- Administer injections and gain IV access as needed.
- Utilize RIS and PACS systems to manage patient data and images.
To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT accredited college or technical school, and one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology with advanced certification in MRI is also required.
Certification in CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens is a must. You must be able to work in a high magnetic field area and be willing to work weekends and varying shifts.
Work EnvironmentOur well-lit and comfortable working environment requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. You will be exposed to patients with infectious diseases and hazardous materials, so it's essential to take necessary precautions.
