MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating a scanner to obtain high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations, ensuring accurate anatomic and technical parameters.
- Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
- Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
- One or more of the following certifications: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, Medical Sonographer, or Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
