Job Summary

Regional Medical Imaging is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI studies following protocols requested by the Radiologist and/or Referring Physician. This is a part-time, non-exempt position working Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures, obtain pertinent exam history, and verify safety requirements.
  • Perform studies following protocols and gain IV access or perform injections as needed.
  • Display competency with RIS and PACS systems.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT accredited college or technical school.
  • One year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology with advanced certification in MRI.

Work Environment
Well-lit, comfortable working environment with possible exposure to patients with infectious diseases and hazardous materials. Occasional fluctuation in work schedule to meet patient/department/organizational needs.
