Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at Align Construction Services. The successful candidate will provide on-site administrative and technical management of electrical activities, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise electrical operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control electrical activities, including planning, organization, direction, and coordination.
  • Review and support hiring needs, ensuring the right personnel are in place to deliver projects.
  • Coordinate quality control and assurance programs, ensuring electrical installations meet quality and code standards.
  • Train, manage, and evaluate project team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Assist the Project Manager in preparing construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, time sheets, safety, and accident reports.
  • Coordinate with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve conflicts, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Plan, organize, and direct electrical production in accordance with the contracted scope of work.
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs, ensuring electrical installations meet quality and code standards.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely receipt of materials, ensuring project delivery.
  • Ensure all electrical installations meet quality and code standards, recognizing and communicating any priority project problems to the Project Manager.
  • Empower, train, and develop field employees, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for counseling employees, including writing and filing corrective measures for each offense.
  • Ensure all installations are correct per NEC, city codes, and engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct regular reviews, including 90-day and annual reviews, to assess job performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Active Journeyman's or Master's License required.
  • Prior knowledge and/or ability to learn and understand the estimating process.
  • Must be safety-minded and proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • Exposure to Accubid a plus.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Ability to be mobile to various locations and available to travel to project areas as project needs require.
