Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at Aerotek. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of industrial construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Project Managers, Customers, and other stakeholders to plan, organize, and direct the work of electrical crew employees daily.
- Maintain familiarity with project plans, specifications, and job folder contract scope.
- Plan and implement the layout and installation of electrical systems in accordance with job specifications.
- Attend coordination meetings as required and provide necessary information to ensure project success.
- Receive and review weekly job assignments, and communicate requirements with the direct Project Manager.
- Assist in monitoring and documenting project progress using appropriate forms and procedures as directed by the Project Manager.
- Provide the workforce with current and accurate information as generated by the Project Manager, including RFIs, memorandums, and other forms of communication.
- Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Codes as needed to ensure compliance.
- Order daily materials as needed for your work area and follow up on backorders as necessary through the Project Manager.
- Monitor and track employee work time as necessary, and assist the Project Manager and workforce in the proper coding of time cards as required.
- Ensure the job site is properly cleaned up at the end of each workday, and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Codes and electrical construction practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide guidance to electrical crew employees.
- Proficient in material ordering and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
