Optum is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Mammography Technologist to join our team in the Tri-State region. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform quality patient care and mammographic imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art imaging equipment
- Assist in the completion of accreditation processes and maintain quality standards
- Contribute to efficient out-patient operations and maximize productivity
- Review and present examinations to radiologists and communicate pertinent data
- Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine
- Able to lift patients weighing up to 300 pounds and place them in appropriate positions
- Eyesight correctable to 20/20 to operate equipment and review developed films
