X-Ray Technologist Opportunity

At The Ouimette Group, we are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper file identification
Demonstrate competency in performing radiographic procedures and operating related equipment
Greet patients, obtain history, and enter information into the computer system
Perform x-rays at optimal quality and demonstrate patient care to protect patients from excessive radiation
Observe patient vital signs during examination

• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Review images to ensure quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information
• Follow proper safety protocols and adhere to radiation protection guidelines

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine preferred
ARRT certified and NY State licensed in Radiologic Technology
One to four years of experience in general radiologic technology preferred

Compensation:

$70.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits and other incentives offered.
