As a CT Technologist at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, you will be responsible for producing high-quality computed tomographic images of patients. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic imaging.

• Verify patient identification and correlate exam requests with physician orders
• Position patients for procedures, adjust and operate equipment, and perform all patient procedures in a professional and timely manner
• Notify waiting patients of unanticipated delays and provide status updates
• Operate CT scanners safely and correctly, performing quality control measures to ensure optimal image quality
• Compare patient images and reports prior to imaging current studies
• Perform critiques of exams for completeness and correct labeling prior to completion in PACS

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Recommended minimum of 1-2 years previous CT scan experience
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology; New York State License in Radiologic Technology

This role requires manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity. You will work in a medical environment with some occupational risk and exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and human waste.
