As a Medical Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. Your responsibilities will include coordinating patient care activities, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and participate in patient care activities, including vital signs, mini-mental assessments, and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
  • Coordinate scheduling with medical secretaries and assist with modifying provider schedules as needed.
  • Monitor schedules to ensure no authorizations are missing for upcoming injections.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Enter data into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate care with patients and other office personnel.
