About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Market Planning and Growth to join our team at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. As a key member of our Government vertical, you will be responsible for driving the continued expansion of our serviceable available market (SAM) through the development of clear growth strategies focused on our vital record solution segment.

This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the vital records ecosystem, including customers, partners, competitors, and emerging technologies. You will be responsible for maintaining the latest insights on market trends, risk, legislation, and policies, and for establishing the 'what' and 'why' behind product development investments, external thought leadership, and market positioning.

You will be accountable for owning the vision for the vital records solution segment, taking initiative to explore and identify new growth areas, and setting fact-based growth plans to expand revenue and SAM. You will also be responsible for communicating decisions clearly and inspiring consensus among organizational leaders and stakeholders, and for conveying executive presence through all communication methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning the vision for the vital records solution segment
  • Taking initiative to explore and identify new growth areas
  • Setting fact-based growth plans to expand revenue and SAM
  • Maintaining the latest insights on market trends, risk, legislation, and policies
  • Establishing the 'what' and 'why' behind product development investments, external thought leadership, and market positioning
  • Communicating decisions clearly and inspiring consensus among organizational leaders and stakeholders
  • Conveying executive presence through all communication methods
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience with the U.S. public sector, particularly federal, state, and local civilian programs
  • 10+ years of experience with Vital Records solutions (data, technology, platforms)
  • 10+ years of experience in the Vital Records ecosystem: customers, partners, competitors, consultants, contracting, regulation, laws, etc.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies supporting government transformational initiatives
  • Proven record of success in building professional relationships
  • Expert knowledge of business growth techniques
  • Sharp negotiation and networking skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
