Job Summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe processing of reusable medical supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, decontaminate, store, and distribute reusable medical supplies and equipment in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
  • Inspect, decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to ensure they are safe for patient use.
  • Monitor and perform antimicrobial and disinfection solutions testing to ensure compliance with manufacturer instructions and documentation.
  • Assemble medical instruments and procedure trays according to established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience as a sterile processing technician or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment and supply processing procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
