Central Florida Health Care, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Call Center Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for scheduling dental appointments, collecting patient demographic and insurance information, and resolving patient portal and eMessenger issues.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule medical and dental appointments by phone.
- Collect patient demographic and insurance information.
- Cancel and reschedule booked medical and dental appointments.
- Call no-show patients to reschedule appointments.
- Understand and apply CFHC scheduling template.
- Transfer calls appropriately.
- Resolve patient portal/Healow application issues, such as resetting passwords.
- Resolve issues on eMessenger, failed calls report.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED.
- Three years' experience scheduling appointments for no less than three providers, preferred.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, and great customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people of varied cultures.
- Computer literate and ability to use all office equipment.
- Typing rate of 40 wpm minimum.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position that requires 80% or more time spent standing/sitting. The incumbent must be independently mobile and able to lift and/or transport up to 20 lbs.
