Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join our team at JE Dunn. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel, and maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of project work.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems promptly, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments, including estimating, procurement, and accounting, to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of field supervision experience, with a strong background in construction management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to [insert weight], with frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and reaching.
