Position Overview:

As a Healthcare Strategy Consultant, you will deliver extensive healthcare management solutions aimed at ensuring suitable healthcare interventions, effectively controlling healthcare expenditures, and enhancing the efficiency of healthcare programs and operations related to clinical matters. Your role will involve assessing medical necessity and appropriateness, facilitating optimal health outcomes, and identifying continuous quality improvement and compliance opportunities.

Your responsibilities may also encompass recognizing discrepancies and initiating corrective measures. You will educate and empower clients to guarantee compliance, satisfaction, and promote patient advocacy. Additionally, you will focus on optimizing overall costs and implementing and evaluating policies based on usage and program directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of healthcare services.
  • Facilitate optimal health outcomes for clients.
  • Identify and pursue continuous quality improvement and compliance opportunities.
  • Recognize discrepancies and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Educate and empower clients to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
  • Optimize total healthcare costs and implement policy evaluations.
  • Empower colleagues at all levels to make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare management or related fields. A Bachelor's degree or a non-licensed master's level clinician degree in behavioral health or human services is required.

Skills Required: Proficiency in case management, behavioral health, and social services.
