We are seeking a highly skilled Tractor-Trailer Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team at Hansen & Adkins Auto Transport, Inc.
Job Summary:
As a Diesel Technician II, you will be responsible for completing minor and major repairs independently, diagnosing issues, and performing related maintenance tasks. You will also mentor new technicians, set an example, and continue to grow your skillset by learning from more experienced technicians and your manager.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair basic powertrain, electrical, and lighting systems on class 8 tractor/trailers in an efficient manner.
- Perform moderately difficult diagnostics and complete repairs safely and in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards.
- Develop and implement effective repair strategies to minimize downtime and optimize vehicle performance.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and coworkers, providing excellent customer service and upholding the company's core values.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
- Minimum of two years of diesel technician experience.
- Possess toolbox and general technician toolset.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Intermediate welding skills preferred but not required.
Working Conditions:
- The shop environment includes machines, tools, heavy equipment, chemicals, solvents, dust, and fumes.
- Ongoing exposure to extreme weather conditions and loud noises.
- Frequent standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, and firm grasping.
