Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to site staff on safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and corporate regulations.
  • Incident Prevention: Conduct regular safety checks, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of incidents, near-misses, and safety metrics, and maintain records of safety inspections and testing.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for site staff, including new hire orientation, fall protection, confined space, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, site staff, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration on safety matters.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Minimum 1 year of construction safety management experience, with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications and Skills: CHST certification preferred, MSHA certification required, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to construction sites, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
