We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Lead. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in radiologic technology and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Performs all staff technologist duties as assigned and required.
- Assists and coordinates patient flow within the division on a daily basis.
- Performs Quality Control checks for exams and equipment as established by the division.
- Monitors adherence to safety policies established within the hospital and division.
- Participates in ongoing Quality Improvement Projects within the division.
- Assists with the facilitation of the ongoing development of all staff within the division.
- Maintains effective working relations and communication with divisional and other hospital personnel.
- Must have graduated from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Must possess a valid permanent Massachusetts license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of progressive experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
This position requires working in a large open area in radiology, which is noisy and tends to have extreme temperature and humidity variations. Minimal exposure to ionizing radiation when using proper safety procedures. Continuous standing and lifting. Exposure to human waste and disease. Considerable stress from dealing with a wide variety of hospital staff, patients, and families.
