Position Overview
The Retail Store Associate role offers a chance to thrive in a dynamic retail environment, where you will engage with customers and work collaboratively with your team to make a positive impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating needs and demonstrating empathy in all interactions.
  2. Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and assist them in locating products.
  3. Accurately handle transactions, including cash, checks, and credit card payments, while adhering to company policies.
  4. Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, managing inventory, and updating pricing as directed.
  5. Support store opening and closing procedures as necessary.
  6. Assist in ensuring all departments, including photo and beauty, are well-stocked and operational.
  7. Collaborate with pharmacy staff as needed, gaining valuable experience for career advancement.
  8. Promote new CVS services and loyalty programs that align with our mission of supporting better health.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently.
  • Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and inspecting details.

Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in retail or customer service is advantageous.

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation:
The typical pay range for this position is $20.75 per hour. This range reflects the base hourly rate for all roles within this job grade. Actual salary offers will vary based on factors such as experience, education, and location.
