Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a part-time Product Advocate located in Nassau County, Long Island. The selected candidates will play a vital role in conducting tastings at various venues, both on- and off-premise, and during special events, supporting our Sales Team in promoting our exceptional offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and engage with patrons and venue staff in a courteous and approachable manner.
  • Evaluate customer preferences and provide tailored recommendations, utilizing suggestive selling techniques.
  • Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
  • Adhere to responsible serving guidelines and maintain compliance with all relevant food and beverage regulations.
  • Keep the sampling station organized and presentable.
  • Restock and manage inventory as needed.
  • Embody the core values of Duvel Moortgat: Passion, Quality, Sustainability, and Integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing demeanor with a knack for building rapport with customers.
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Quick learner with the ability to retain product knowledge and discuss our diverse beer offerings.
  • Comfortable working autonomously.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 30lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods.
  • Must obtain necessary certifications, including liquor license, SMART training, and Beer Server Certification.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts is essential.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
  • A valid government-issued driver's license is required.
  • Possession of a reliable mobile phone and vehicle is necessary.
  • Ability to update availability on a shared calendar bi-weekly.
  • A passion for craft beer or prior industry experience is advantageous.

Note: This position offers remote work flexibility.
