About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Sales Consultant to join our team at Daltile. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, product expertise, and interior design advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide interior design advice and product expertise to clients, facilitating tile and stone selection and project development.
  • Log client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed customer preference and selection notes in our customer management tool.
  • Prospect for new business with a focus on Custom Builders and Residential Designers, logging all client visits and contact information.
  • Maintain showroom samples and merchandising, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining samples and displays.
  • Plan and host showroom tours and events to drive customer sales and build brand awareness.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in a related field, or four years of related experience, or a combination of a two-year degree with two years of related experience.
  • Excellent sales and customer engagement skills, with the ability to approach unfamiliar situations and conceptualize creative solutions.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as customer management tools.
  • Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, team members, and management.
