Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Sales Specialist to join our team at Dasco HME LLC. As a Respiratory Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in growing our home ventilator services by providing exceptional clinical support and educational resources to healthcare providers, ensuring both prescriber satisfaction and improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical services and education to patients to improve quality of life, respiratory conditions, and prevent hospital re-admissions.
  2. Regularly follow up with patients and prescribers to ensure successful care plan implementation and address any evolving needs or concerns.
  3. Identify and pursue new referral sources while nurturing relationships with existing prescribers to meet or exceed monthly sales and patient census targets.
  4. Responsible for product and clinical application presentations to customers and physicians to increase customer's knowledge base on all respiratory/ventilation product lines and the latest information available on pulmonary disease management.
  5. A strong well-rounded Respiratory Therapist who has therapy solutions for all patients transitioning home with respiratory conditions and can provide support, education, and interventions to keep them in their home.
  6. Evaluates the effectiveness of the present respiratory regimen. Provides input into the interdisciplinary plan of care to promote optimal respiratory function related to the patient's potential. Instructs patients and caregivers on appropriate respiratory care and equipment protocols and works as an advocate between the patient and physician.
  7. Complete all other requirements related to this sales position.
  8. Achieve monthly sales and ventilation census growth goals.
  9. Responsible to comply with and report any compliance/safety issues.
  10. All other duties as assigned by Manager.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Licensed Respiratory Therapist or related clinician able to perform responsibilities.
  • One-year sales experience, preferably in the medical field.

Work Environment

Travel

Daily travel is required for this position during regular business hours along with occasional overnight travel for training and corporate meetings at home office.
