Pride Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide critical care support to our clients in Houston, TX. This contract assignment offers a high likelihood of extension and a great opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Job Details:

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care Specialist

Location: Houston, TX

Schedule: 36 hrs/week

Shift: 3x12 Days/Nights (12 hrs)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $2400-$2500 Weekly DOE

Responsibilities:

Provide critical care support to patients, including setting up and operating devices such as therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators.

Monitor patient physiological responses to therapy and consult with physicians if there are adverse reactions.

Work as part of a team of healthcare professionals to manage patient care and assist with medical procedures.

Inspect, test, clean, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment to ensure it is functioning safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

Must have inpatient pediatric experience.

Must have NBRC certification.

Current RCP license in the state of practice.

Respiratory care, emergency care, and intensive care experience.

Current certification from the American Heart Association.

Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation.
