Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Tradesmen International. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including bulldozers, backhoes, and garbage trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, including overhauls, engine replacements, and transmission repairs
  • Diagnose and identify problems with heavy equipment
  • Test components and systems using equipment such as compression gauges and infrared engine analyzers
  • Adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications
  • Perform safety and emissions inspections

Requirements:

  • Experience with hydraulics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
