Biomedical Equipment Specialist

The Biomedical Equipment Technician II is responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, inspect, and test biomedical equipment to ensure proper functioning
* Troubleshoot and repair complex biomedical equipment
* Calibrate and verify the performance of biomedical equipment
* Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to ensure safe operation and use of clinical equipment
Requirements:
* Associate degree in technical or electronics field, or equivalent experience
* Three years of experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
* Valid State Driver's License required
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in at least one specialty area
* Technical Certification (CBET) preferred
