The Transit Operations Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transit system. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong observational skills to conduct passenger surveys, analyze data, and provide insights that inform scheduling decisions.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a public-facing role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are also required for this position.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting passenger surveys to gather data on ridership patterns and demographics
  • Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement in transit operations
  • Providing recommendations to management on scheduling adjustments and service improvements
  • Communicating effectively with the public and other stakeholders on transit-related issues
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
