Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Manager to join our corporate team in Plano, TX. This role is pivotal in managing tax reporting and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely tax returns, and planning for future tax filings.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee US and Canadian corporate income tax, sales and use taxes, and compliance processes with external firms to ensure accurate and timely tax returns.
- Prepare and/or review all calculations related to the tax provision and provision to return adjustments.
- Review reconciliations of income tax payable/receivable and deferred tax accounts.
- Prepare the annual financial statement footnotes and disclosures.
- Calculate and manage the disbursement of funds for tax payments.
- Manage interactions with the IRS and CRA to defend tax strategies.
- Provide assistance with international tax questions and manage transfer pricing agreements and policies.
- Collaborate with tax consultants and outside experts to develop strategies for working with tax authorities.
- Administer and process sales and use tax returns for the company.
- Plan, direct, and execute various tax projects.
- Perform research and prepare/review technical tax memoranda.
- 5-7 years of broad tax experience, including a strong understanding of international tax.
- Experience in public accounting, with Big 4 experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA is required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
