Job Summary

University Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Supervisor MDS Coordinator RN in our Long Term Care Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing management of Resident care as related to the MDS and Care Plan, in accordance with HFCA regulations and guidelines, state regulations, and the mission of University Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide management of Resident care as related to the MDS and Care Plan
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each Resident
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and services
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure Resident safety and well-being
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive Resident records
  • Ensure compliance with HFCA regulations and guidelines, state regulations, and University Health policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Registered Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current license to practice as a RN in the State of Missouri
  • Three years of direct care experience, one year long term care experience
  • Knowledgeable of current standards of nursing practice and procedures
  • Ability to apply nursing techniques to specific patient situations
