Responsibilities
  • Provide management of Resident care as related to the MDS and Care Plan
  • Ensure compliance with HFCA regulations and guidelines, state regulations, and the mission
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing LTC and Administrator to develop and implement care plans
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of Resident care
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive Resident charts and reports
  • Communicate effectively with Residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in health care committees and meetings to coordinate care and services
Requirements
  • Registered Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current license to practice as a RN in the State of Missouri
  • Three years of direct care experience, one year long term care experience
  • Knowledgeable of current standards of nursing practice and procedures
  • Ability to apply nursing techniques to specific patient situations
  • Ability to accurately prepare and maintain Care Plans and MDS records
