Responsibilities

  • Provide management of Resident care as related to the MDS and Care Plan
  • Develop and implement care plans in accordance with HFCA regulations and guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and the mission of University Health
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing LTC and Administrator to achieve departmental goals
  • Utilize strong clinical assessment and development skills to create effective care plans
  • Accurately prepare and maintain Care Plans and MDS records, Resident charts and reports
  • Promote Resident quality of life and quality of care as evidenced by regulatory agency survey results

Requirements

  • Registered Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current license to practice as a RN in the State of Missouri
  • Three years of direct care experience, one year long term care experience
  • Knowledgeable of current standards of nursing practice and procedures
  • Ability to apply nursing techniques to specific patient situations
