Role Summary:
As a Sales Growth Specialist at Consolidated Electrical Distributors, you will start with essential warehouse and delivery responsibilities to familiarize yourself with the fundamentals of Electrical Distribution and our unique offerings. We encourage you to think innovatively, leverage your strengths, and exceed your own expectations. This structured program spans 1-2 years, during which you will rotate through various roles including Counter Sales and Inside Sales, engaging with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions at our sales counter. You will be responsible for processing customer orders and providing assistance with warehouse operations as necessary. This hands-on training will enhance your understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements. Upon mastering each segment of the business, you will have the opportunity to advance to an Account Manager position, where you will oversee a portfolio of accounts and focus on driving business growth. Your role will involve collaborating with local contractors and electricians across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors to expand your business portfolio.

Training Timeline:
1. Warehouse Operations – 4 months
2. Counter Sales – 6 months
3. Inside Sales – 8 months
4. Operational Training – 1 month
5. Final Transition to Account Manager

Reporting Structure:
You will report to the Profit Center Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of B2B Sales experience is advantageous
- A proactive, positive mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate equipment safely, including forklifts (certification provided on the job)
- Capable of lifting 40+ lbs.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and creatively inclined
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office setting and various warehouse environments. Standard office equipment is routinely utilized. The role may require standing, walking, sitting, and using hands to manipulate tools or controls. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects exceeding 75 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:
- The Sales Growth Specialist will manage specific customer accounts, ensuring a consistently positive experience for each client.
- Process customer orders and engage in discussions regarding pricing and availability.
- Develop processes and strategies to keep customers organized and informed, facilitating their forecasting needs.
- Participate in ongoing training related to solar equipment to provide informed product advice to customers.
- Offer insights into purchasing decisions based on customer interactions and established relationships.
- Deliver customer service to walk-in retail clients, handling cash and credit transactions.
- Provide telephone sales support, addressing customer inquiries, processing orders, and routing calls.
- Assist in preparing and picking sales orders in collaboration with the warehouse team.
- Contribute ideas for marketing, events, and broader customer communications.
- Maintain lobby displays and stock literature in the showroom.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $67,000 annually.

Additional Compensation:
Profit Sharing may be applicable for this role.
