Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the physical construction activities of projects in strict compliance with contract specifications, local and national building regulations, and specific project requirements.
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager to document and maintain standard reports regarding delays, workarounds, shutdowns, and other critical updates.
  • Resolving interpersonal conflicts on-site and demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors while fostering a collaborative environment with Project Managers and field personnel.
  • Ensuring quality assurance and control for all MSS-related tasks and schedules.
  • Attending all inspections for assigned projects.
  • Managing and providing feedback on the MSS tool tracking program relevant to assigned projects and staff.
  • Forecasting and managing varying levels of labor and equipment needs for projects.
  • Organizing the workforce required to complete projects efficiently and within budget.
  • Interpreting complex blueprints and equipment installation manuals.
  • Addressing complex job-related challenges and presenting solutions to the Project Team and/or Field Operations Manager.
  • Acting as a liaison with client representatives.
  • Tracking project progress and reporting to the Field Operations Manager and Project Managers on a weekly basis.
  • Overseeing safety protocols on assigned projects and assisting the safety manager in maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Coordinating daily job operations with project managers.
  • Managing subcontractor, vendor, and labor activities while ensuring accuracy and quality in all work performed.
  • Identifying and reporting issues or deficiencies to the Project Manager and documenting on-site activities that may hinder progress or compliance.
  • Conducting interviews and selecting field staff for job sites.
  • Participating in all project meetings.
  • Conducting safety briefings and maintaining attendance records.
  • Performing performance evaluations for project employees.
  • Executing other duties as assigned by the Company.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Proficiency in managing site logistics and contract operations, particularly in urban settings.
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
  • A comprehensive understanding of all construction phases, with experience in various work divisions, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, specifically as a Lead Superintendent.
  • A thorough understanding of project documentation, including blueprints, revisions, and specifications.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with BIM-coordinated projects.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • OSHA 30 certification.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree is required.
