Our Requirements:

We seek an AI Engineer to play a pivotal role in the architecture and development of our advanced conversational AI platform by crafting and implementing cutting-edge methodologies for utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) in conversational AI solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

You will design, construct, and sustain both new and existing components of a conversational AI platform for personal and institutional banking across diverse languages and regions. This role encompasses the comprehensive design of AI models that drive the conversational AI platform, focusing on the application of LLMs to task-oriented dialogues within the financial landscape. You will engage in applied research and development in a dynamic setting, aiming to iteratively enhance the performance of conversational AI models for production readiness. Key areas of focus may include:

  • Fine-tuning existing LLMs using innovative data sources.
  • Creating hybrid models that enable LLMs to interact with tools and knowledge bases.
  • Exploring LLM applications for tasks such as intent classification and slot filling.

Ideal candidates will possess a robust background with production-level experience in AI and NLP, alongside a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles. Familiarity with tuning, evaluating, and debugging NLP systems is essential. Given our multilingual platform, candidates should be adept at working with varied language data and possess expertise in language structure and patterns.

You will significantly influence the behavior of our conversational AI systems, utilized by millions of banking clients globally, while thriving in a small, creative, and supportive team of dedicated professionals. Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in NLP technology.
  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, or a related discipline, ideally with a focus on Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
  • Experience in training and fine-tuning LLMs using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and a solid foundation in Computer Science; capable of writing production-level code and understanding OOP principles.
  • Familiarity with current research and trends in NLP and ML.
  • Experience in developing multilingual NLP technology, text processing, statistical NLP, and/or conversational agents.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, shell scripting, and/or SQL is advantageous.
