The Sponsored Programs Manager plays a critical role in the administration of sponsored programs within the college. This position is responsible for managing and directing all pre-award and post-award activities, including proposal development, budget development, policy, process, and procedure development, collection, reporting, and distribution of funding information to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and direct all college pre-award sponsored program activities, including proposal development, budget development, and policy development.
- Direct all college post-award sponsored programs activities, including contract negotiation and administration, regulatory compliance, and financial management of awards.
- Provide leadership, direction, and advice on policy and guidelines development and implementation related to the administration of sponsored programs in the college.
- Assist and support the Associate Dean related to internal college initiatives to enhance and promote sponsored research.
- Supervise data collection and management reporting for all college-related sponsored program activities and serve as the representative for the college at university meetings.
