Job Overview

aFit Staffing Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining Active Directory, providing hands-on support for infrastructure, and implementing new procedures for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory, including GPO's, DHCP, WINS, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Provide technical support for server infrastructure, including WSUS, SCCM, Hyper-v, O365, Azure AD, backups, file, and print services.
  • Analyze and resolve network resource issues, including web-filter and Office 365.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network platforms and operational procedures.
  • Implement regular housekeeping procedures, including anti-virus implementation and data/application backups.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades to meet organizational requirements.
  • Develop and deploy standard desktops, common tools, and processes.
  • Mentor junior team members and serve as an escalation point for issues.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for systems issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an information technology-related field and 5 years of progressive Windows systems administration experience.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage time effectively.
  • Strong sense of ethics and confidentiality.
