Position Overview

This role is vital for the integration of both projected and actual revenue figures, alongside variance analysis, cost volume submissions, and support for Data Processing revenue (DPF). Responsibilities encompass assistance in the posting of FANF, TIF, and SIF.

The position reports to the Revenue Consolidation Lead, focusing on revenue integration and DPF reporting. The selected candidate will be an integral part of the highly regarded NA Revenue FP&A team, collaborating across a matrixed organization to actualize and deliver month-end reporting, support budgeting, forecasting, and enhance financial models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee month-end processes. Analyze monthly and quarterly outcomes, identify and interpret significant variances, trends, and insights, and present findings to management.
  • Participate in Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting activities in alignment with regional and global standards.
  • Identify patterns and trends to create precise forecasts, utilizing judgment and analytical skills.
  • Gain proficiency in Visa's financial reporting systems, execute data queries, develop financial frameworks, and support finance technology initiatives.
  • Contribute to ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and yearly analyses of Market and Client trends for use by supported departments during Executive reviews.
  • Assess existing models and seek opportunities to introduce new tools, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency (e.g., self-service dashboards).
  • Collaborate and coordinate with a diverse range of stakeholders (e.g., Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategy, Controllership, etc.).
  • Responsible for the submission of Data Processing Fees.
This position operates in a hybrid model, allowing employees to alternate between remote and office work. Hybrid employees are expected to work from the office 2-3 designated days a week, with a general guideline of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business requirements.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or no experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.

• Fundamental understanding of multi-party economic models (issuers, acquirers, processors, interchange, merchants, cardholders, etc.) and performance measurement and reporting.

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analytics.

• Ability to translate complex analyses into clear business narratives.

• High proficiency in Excel with a proven ability to enhance processes through automation and end-to-end efficiencies; additional experience with complex financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, Tableau, PowerBI) is advantageous.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional, global, and matrixed team.

• Highly detail-oriented with exceptional planning and time management skills.

Travel Requirements: This role may require travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office environment, requiring the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and via telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
