L.J Gonzer Associates is seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter/Designer to join their team in Trenton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience in custom product design and proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and AutoDesk Inventor Pro.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare drawings and engineering packets for manufacturing, including Bills of Material
  • Develop, maintain, and update AutoDesk Inventor Pro and AutoCAD library for standard parts design
  • Design special tooling and jigs for manufacturing
  • Create other designs as necessary
  • Provide support to manufacturing as required and mentor manufacturing personnel in proper manufacturing techniques

Requirements:

  • Technical/drafting school education or equivalent
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and AutoDesk Inventor Pro
  • Experience in custom product design
  • Knowledge in mechanical hardware assembly
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
