Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Top Retail Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of our construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in complex electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyors, and packaging systems.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Allen Bradley PLC's and other electrical control systems.
- Utilize your expertise in pneumatics to maintain and improve our equipment's performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, using your knowledge and experience to identify and fix problems quickly and efficiently.
- Assist in the design and installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring that all systems meet our high standards of safety and performance.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize workflow and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Document all maintenance and repair work, contributing to our ongoing effort to improve procedures and best practices.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, maintaining a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and electrical controls.
- Proven experience working with motors, conveyors, packaging equipment, and Allen Bradley PLC's.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and team members.
- A commitment to safety and efficiency, with a track record of maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Ability to document all work performed and contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Must be able to work independently and make decisions based on a thorough understanding of the necessary technical requirements.
